A number of political parties exist in Arunachal Pradesh and every party appeals to people to vote for them. If an individual really wants to vote then, he/she must be of 18 years or more. One can follow a simple process of registration to get their voter ID cards.
The process of registration is as follows:
- One has to log in to the official website www.ceoarunachal.nic.in, this is being created by the joint efforts of Election Commission of India and Arunachal Pradesh state government. When you will visit the website, you will see a lot of information on the homage page regarding the elections, polls and electoral process. To proceed further you must have to create your account on the website.
- To create an account you have to click on the text saying “New user registration”. You will get a complete form which you to fill properly in order to enter the website. A verification link will be send to your registered email address. Once you will click on that link you will enter the website from where you can choose the form for new applicant.
- Click on the form 6A and download it. Fill all the details asked in the form and upload it back to the website along with the documents which are asked to be attached. You will be asked to enter your name, father’s name, address etc.
- After this a Booth Level Officer will visit you for the purpose of verification. He only visits to check whether the information provided by you at the time of registration is correct or not. If he finds everything well, he will allot a date to you. On that date you will have to visit the office to get your voter ID card.
If your age is 18 years or above and you have not got your name registered for voter ID card then, do it now. It’s your right to get your Voter ID card and without it you will not be able to contribute in the country’s political future. So get up and get your name register now.
