Since the initial release of Aadhaar Cards, in India, many citizens of India have faced many serious and minor issues with respect to the card. From missing pin code to the misplaced name, there had been seriously many issues associated with it, the resolving of which is also quite easy. Likewise the Aadhaar acknowledgement slip is also important and missing it can be slightly troublesome.
If you misplace your original Aadhar card, then only by using your enrollment number or acknowledgment slip, you can check your status online. You can do the same for even downloading the duplicate Aadhar card online. This duplicate card works just as well as your original issued card.
But what if you lose your acknowledgment slip and do not remember your Adhar or enrolment number. Do not fret. We have an option for you to download a duplicate using your name, mobile number and date of birth.
To download your duplicate card, just follow the steps given below:

- Go to the official website of Aadhar.
- Choose the option that says “You want to receive lost” – “Aadhar No (UID)” or “Enrolment No (EID)”.
- Then fill your details like full name, email address, registered mobile number and security code and then click on “GET OTP” bar.
- You will receive the OTP on your mobile phone as well as in your email.
- Fill the OTP in the following box from your mobile or email address.
- Then choose the “VERIFY OTP” option
After this process you will receive your enrollment number or Aadhar number on your mobile phone. The second set of instructions are as follows:
- You can now choose the “I HAVE” – “AADHAR” or “Enrolment ID”
- Fill your Aadhar Card Number/ Enrolment ID, Full Name, Pin Code, Security Text, Mobile Number and other details.
- Now choose the “Get OTP”.
- You will get the OTP on your registered mobile and email ID.
- Fill the OTP in the following box from your mobile or email address.
- Choose the “VALIDATE and DOWNLOAD”.
You will be now opened in a new browser with the Aadhar card. It will be in a pdf form that you can download and print for any of your purposes.
